Acceleration Spark Timer
This apparatus is used to determine the rate of acceleration in a falling weight, calculate the speed of a moving cart or study the forces of friction. A paper strip is pulled through the device while sparks burn tiny dots on the paper at very precise time intervals. The faster the strip passes through the sparks the larger distance between dots. It is easy for the student to calculate the velocity and acceleration. Additionally
everything on the spark timer is enclosed for safety. Instructions included.
